17. Døgn

Dagens position, efter endnu en nat med hård vind: 14 gr. 04,768 N 54 gr. 55,268 V. Luft 26 gr. Vand 27 gr. Vind 12 m/s øst. Med denne fart ser vi land natten mellem tirsdag og onsdag eller onsdag morgen.

Wow we are flying now.

Yesterday was fast and tough sailing !

Waves were huge and it rained most of the day. Instead of chatting the afternoon away in the cockpit we were taking shelter from the rain in the hot damp galley. The wet salty sea air has permeated everything; clothes, bedding & towels. We are all ready for a good long shower and some clean dry clothes.

If we keep our current speed up we should see land in 48 hrs yippee!!

But for now all are healthy and happy. If weather is better this afternoon we may have our long awaited "Grådyb talent contest"; André will show us how he can pick his nose with his foot & I will demonstrate my pole knot or maybe the 'dislocate' my wrist trick. I don't know yet what the Dall boys will do (hopefully not sing lol) but they never fail to entertain so it should be a laugh.
